Polymetallic Holding Seligdar, a leading gold and tin producer in Russia, announces certification of the largest automated laboratory in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The issued certificate confirms that the new automated laboratory of Seligdar PJSC operates in full compliance with the existing requirements of GOST Certification/ ISO/ IEC, OCT including requirements for the premises, their technical facilities, personnel qualification and quality of performed operations. All the results of performed by the Seligdar PJSC’s Aldan laboratory tests of run-of-mine materials of different kinds, gold- and silver-bearing ores, products of ore primary processing, alloys of doré gold, cyanide and hydrochloric acid solutions are now officially certified and will be accepted in the regional offices of the State Commission on Mineral Reserves.

At year-end 2022, a new ore assay laboratory at the Seligdar PJSC’s headquarters in Aldan town was constructed. The laboratory complex of 3,000 square meters is equipped with the cutting-edge machinery including an industrial robot that automatically splits, crushes and pulverizes samples. This is the first laboratory robot of this level in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Due to the commissioning of the new laboratory, the quantity of samples being tested by Seligdar has more than doubled. The major part of operations is performed by the robot complex.
