At the Ecology Day held January 26, 2024 at the Russia International Exhibition and Forum, Polymetallic Holding Seligdar (hereafter Seligdar) spoke about the implementation of the Kyuchus growth project and, in particular, about the energy supply to the infrastructure objects intended for the gold ore deposit development generated by a Small Modular Reactor Nuclear Power Plant (SMR NPP). Currently, the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Rosatom State Corporation, KAMAZ and Seligdar negotiate on the first in Russia and in the world zero-carbon emissions cluster for minerals mining enabled by hydrogen energy generated by an SMR NPP.

Earlier in January 2022 at Expo 2020 Dubai, Rusatom Overseas JSC (a company of Rosatom State Corporation) and Seligdar PJSC signed an Agreement on the Supply and Consumption of Energy Generated by a Small Modular Reactor Nuclear Power Plant for the development of the Kyuchus gold deposit in Ust-Yanskiy and Verkhoyanskiy districts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

At the VIII^th Eastern Economic Forum, the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom and Seligdar PJSC entered into an intent agreement for cooperation in projects of the Kyuchus cluster of tin, gold and other mineral deposits.
