The Polymetallic Holding Group Seligdar (MOEX: SELG) is expanding its fleet of in-house equipment for mining operations at the Sininda production complex located in the Severobaikalskiy District of the Republic of Buryatia.
The first units of equipment have already commenced operations at the Nerundinskoye deposit, where an underground mining method is applied. In response to increasing production volumes, the Company has acquired a Weilong Multimec MF100J underground utility vehicle capable of performing several functions through a system of specialised modules, including a scissor lift and crane unit, a cargo platform and manipulator, as well as an enclosed passenger module with a capacity of up to 16 people. The underground self-propelled machine will increase the rate of mine development and improve the productivity of preparatory workings for ore extraction.
In addition to equipment for core operations, the Sininda site will also receive machinery intended for auxiliary works. Among them is the heavy 37-tonne Shantui SD32 bulldozer. This machine is widely used today across a number of industries and in the most demanding operating conditions. One of the key advantages of this bulldozer is its high energy efficiency and long period of reliable operation.
In addition, the production complex will be supplemented with a Fambition FT20 underground mining truck with a payload capacity of 20 tonnes and an Epiroc S10J development drilling rig, which is distinguished by increased precision of manipulation and high drill positioning speed, ensuring high-quality mine development.
