Seligdar summarized full-year results at Technical Council in Aldan

21.12.2023

Polymetallic Holding Seligdar (hereafter Seligdar) conducted a session of its Technical Council in Aldan town where it summarized the 2023 results. Ahead of schedule and above plan production is the main result of the year. Seligdar crossed an important output milestone of 8 tonnes of gold and showed a dynamic growth in production from 7.2 tonnes in 2021 to over 8 tonnes in 2023.

The outstanding production results are associated with a large-scale modernisation programme of its operations, technology upgrades and growth in qualification of operational personnel. The vehicle fleet was renewed, new worker houses were built, volume of ore stacking for heap leaching and capacity of plants for processing of gold pregnant solution were increased. The processing capacities of plants at the Ryabinovy production complex in Yakutia, the Sininda production complex in Buryatia and the Poisk production complex in the Altai region were increased. The modernisation of the stacking line was performed at the Samolazovskiy production complex in Yakutia. The efficient work of the unique preliminary ore thermal treatment facility, which enables up to 90% metal recovery from ore, has continued at the complex.

The next year plans were also discussed at the Technical Council in Aldan. In 2024, Seligdar will pursue modernisation of operations, construction of new worker houses at its operating locations and implementation of its growth projects – Kyuchus and Khvoyny. The preparatory phase for the development of the Kyuchus project pre-feasibility study was completed in 2023. The major part of equipment contracted for the Khvoyny project was delivered, the construction is underway and on schedule.
