Polymetallic Holding Seligdar has started developing a project to construct a 35 kV high-voltage power transmission line to the Podgolechny production complex in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The new line will have a length of 20 km and a capacity of 5,000 kW.

The successful completion of the project will not only enhance the reliability of electricity supply to industrial facilities but also reduce energy costs. The transition to a centralized energy system will save over one billion Russian roubles over six years, based on current energy prices.

Currently, electricity is generated by a diesel power station.

Seligdar has allocated land for the construction and has received preliminary approval from the Directorate of DRSK JSC for connection to the Yakokut substation's 35 kV electricity network. Work is scheduled to finish by the end of 2024.

In 2023, the Podgolechny production complex started operating at full capacity at the Yasnaya Polyana deposit. Holding Group specialists carried out technical work at the heap leaching plant, installing three new adsorption columns, an additional pumping station, and two automatic filters for working solutions. According to Seligdar PJSC 's Annual Report, 361 kilograms of gold were produced at the Podgolechny complex in 2023, accounting for four percent of the Holding Group's total production.
